COURSE DESCRIPTION
Well-intending interventions backfiring. Goals drifting. Feeling of "working against the system". Fixing a problem just to find it reappearing after a while. Being addicted to stuff you know is bad for you. If you've had such experiences, you were caught in destructive systemic patterns.
Our entire society is currently caught in a number of these patterns, which is the reason that, in spite of all the awareness and information available, our social and environmental interventions have hardly any real impact.
In this course, you will learn how to recognise these patterns and where to look for interventions that lead to lasting effects instead of just sweeping problems under the rug.

My first formal contact with Systems Thinking was in the academic time of my career, studying nonlinear dynamic systems and chaos from a scientific point of view.
After transitioning into business and focusing my personal research efforts more into social and economic systems, I began studying Systems Thinking also from a more applicative and "human" perspective. I found it an immensely powerful discipline to bridge silos, understand the dynamics of our systems and solve problems in a way that's good for the whole.
The programme for this course is a result of years of training in the discipline and working on sustainability projects and solutions, which provides rich practical examples and feedback from the field.
