COORDINATION & GOVERNANCE OF TECH

Multipolar traps and perverse incentives underpin most systemic issues, incentivizing behaviour and technological development that's in nobody's long-term interest. We're looking for systems of governance and coordination that incentivize towards peace and balanced progress.

How can we as individuals, communities and organizations nurture clarity, resilience and meaningful culture in an increasingly chaotic world? Which skills are worth developing and how? How can we get from information bubbles and opinions to meaningful dialogue and shared understanding?

Global economy rests on mainstream economic thought that is focused on narrow metrics and largely detached from physical reality. Building on the work of pioneers in fields such as ecological economics, systems thinking and complexity science, we're showing possibilities for radically better economic models,

EXAMPLES OF PAST PROJECTS

The project was co-funded by the European Union through the Interreg Alpine Space programme and aimed at building the capacity for transition to the circular economy in the Alpine region's innovation ecosystem. The role of Bright3r was guiding small and medium companies through the development of sustainable business models.

INTERREG ALPINE SPACE CIRCULAR 4.0

A CONFERENCE ON AUTHENTIC CULTURAL HERITAGE

The conference and a documentary film was done in collaboration with and under the leadership of Upasana and funded by the programme GO!2025 European capital of culture. Through featuring Kabrca, an indigenous instrument in the Posočje region of Slovenia, it emphasized the role of indigenous heritage as a way of maintaining sovereignty and anti-colonialism.

SYSTEMS THINKING AND SUSTAINABILITY IN EDUCATION

Through the project PCVIZ (Climate goals in Education) and in collaboration with the Slovenian Institute for Vocational Education and Training, we worked on establishing a competence model for bringing sustainability and systems thinking into formal education, and conducted a systems thinking training programme for employees in the educational system.
