Systems Thinking is both a powerful collection of tools and a holistic mindset that equips us to see complex situations not as isolated events, but as expressions of underlying systems and mental models that drive the behaviour we observe.

Adopting these mindsets, tools and methods will help individuals, teams and organizations move from short-term fixes, burden shifting and unwanted patterns of behaviour to lasting change, collaborative solutions and a holistic worldview.

Most breakthroughs and creative solutions happen when we look at the problem from an angle we previously hadn't. But, in reality, when faced with challenges, most of us tend to jump to known conclusions and solutions too quickly.

In our problem solving trainings, most of what we're doing is employing a variety of methods (most of them fun, some of them a tad frustrating at first) to break free from our usual thinking patterns and understand the situation in a novel way.

Critical thinking is arguably one of the most important mental skills we need to cultivate in the modern world, in concert with empathy and the discipline to avoid the infinite variety of mind-numbing addictions the economy has to offer.

Social platforms, AI content and economic incentives underpinned by psychology and neuroscience create a world where truth is elusive and human minds are a resource to be exploited. By training critical thinking, we can hope to see through the noise.
